After 20 successful years running my own company in an insurance related industry, I felt the need to make some major changes in my life, so I moved to Dallas in 2000 and obtained my real estate license and became associated with two very well known Real Estate Teams and offices. After a stint in residential sales, and realizing that the condo market was beginning to boom, I decided to go to on-site condo sales with another broker which also gave me the chance to become involved with the designing of spaces, the marketing of whatever property I was associated with at the time, interior planning and design, working with builders to determine changes in planning, and helping buyers select the interior components of their new homes.
Unfortunately the condo market took a dive about 7 years ago, so I changed directions once again and started working with J. Douglas Design.
Since then, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with so many different types of customer’s in both their furniture selections, as well as becoming friends with many of them. I am now the Showroom Manager for J. Douglas Design and like to run a tight ship. Douglas will tell you I’m a micro manager, but sometimes in this business, that’s a good thing.
Putting the customer first is my number one priority, as well as helping them to make their surroundings the most amazing place to come home to.
